HOW TO WASH RAW DENIM
01 FILL THE TUB Fill a bathtub, sink, or large container with lukewarm water — just enough to fully submerge the jeans.
02 ADD DETERGENT Add a small amount of mild liquid detergent. Dark-colour or wool-safe detergent works well. Avoid bleach or strong fragrances. Mix it into the water before adding the jeans.
03 SOAK Submerge the jeans fully — press them down if they float. Turning them inside out is optional to reduce indigo loss. Soak for 30 minutes, moving them gently once or twice to release dirt without disturbing natural creases.
04 RINSE Drain and refill with cold clean water. Submerge the jeans again and let them sit for 5–10 minutes to remove any remaining soap.
05 DRY Lift the jeans out and let excess water drip off. Hang from the waistband and air dry for 6–12 hours. Never use a dryer — heat distorts the shape and damages the fades
